Hahas, ytd night I finally discovered what was to happen to the turkey that had been bought. My mum got my 3rd aunt and grandma over for some small party last night( rather, to help finish up the food lols, a cry of help!?). However, it was still not good enough though. So, there's still couple of weeks supply of turkey, ham, bread and some other food stuff left in my fridge. Ho, looks like we're gonna get real sick of eating turkey after this Christmas eh? Anyways, the food was still good and I personally made Mash Potato for this party lols. Seriously, the Mash Potato really tastes quite delicious ya know. Hahas, at least I managed to pick up a skill from this party, making Mash Potato. Mash Potato, anyone?
Haiz and yeahs, looks like no presents this Christmas lolz.

Outing with Pri Sch Frens
So... finally met up with some primary school frens ytd and went out tgt to catch a movie, New Moon. We watched it at Orchard Shawhouse and boy, there were lots of ppl dere and very long queues for tickets and food.
Left early in the morn at 9+ and headed out for Jurong Point to meet up with Han Rui and Wei Ting. I was early though, reached at 10.15 and called Han Rui. Realised I wasn't supposed to be in JP but at Boon Lay MRT, lols. After walking around abit, I made my way to the MRT control station and after some waiting, Han Rui tapped me on the back. It was only just after 10.30, our supposed meeting time so was still ok. But he's lyk grown so much taller than me alr, 1.72 m!! Okay, I noe tat's not really very shocking but still, I'm not even 1.70 yet, though i hope to be soon or even above tat. So chatted around abit and learnt tat WT lived just above JP. However, we still waited more than an hour for her to get down, lols. Then we left for Orchard Shawhouse at 12.00.
Got to Orchard Shawhouse at bout 1.15( all the while was WT leading us, I had no clue where we were going the whole time lols). Whoa, queue for tickets was very long and so had to wait. I wanted to have popcorn so we split up. Me and HR went to get popcorn while WT queued. However, queue was long oso and had to enter the cinema b4 we had bought popcorn lols. Got into the cinema just after 1.30, which was the start time of the show but the show had alr started. No ads de lolz. Anyways, still not too bad though I still find it a little abrupt. After the show WT hung around Orchard while me and HR headed back to JP. Had a quick lunch at Pepper Lunch wif HR coz HR needed to get home by 5.30 and said goodbye soon after finishing lunch. Hope to meet up again soon!
Hmm... probably going to go cycling wif HR and some of his frens nxt Sat though its not confirmed yet. Its gonna be at East Coast so I have still got to find a way to cycle dere if I'm going, lols.
To end off, shall wish all a Merry Christmas and Happiness, Hope and Peace to all!

Holidays so far...
Morn to all. Juz woke up bright and early and it's still drizzling outside. Come to think of it, weather's been kinda cold lately, hovering about 27 -28 even in the morns. Rain seems aplenty too.
Anyway, hols has seem kinda slack for me so far, just watching lots of TV, but it isn't without work. I managed to clear out my used worksheets from sec 1 till now some two weeks ago I think. Last tuesday, I also went to help out my aunt wif some stapling of vouchers for her work. Unfortunately, I wasn't to be paid. Good of me eh, free labour lehz. Still, 4 hours of my time spent dere stapling 1000 vouchers. Zzz...
Also went bowling last week with my siblings and cousins at Chevrons a club somewhere near my house. Hmm... I'm slowly getting better at bowling with frequent practice. Went again on Mon as well.
On another note, my parents hve bought a huge turkey, some ham and some smoked salmon home for some impromptu party where no one was invited lols. At first was supposed to be me and siblings in charge of fixing the turkey but lost interest in it. So gonna be parents who do it.
Going to be going out wif some primary school frens later... Signing off.

Chalet for Primary 6C
Been thinking of organinsing a chalet or BBQ for primary school friends as a get together. Hmm... time really flies huh, been 4 yrs since we last got together alr. So, I trained down to Downtown East this morn at bout 10.30 with my sis after picking up my younger sis from tuition at bugis. Seems that there'r still many available chalets in Jan so I've finally decided to hold a chalet instead of a BBQ. I've also requested for Wei Ting's help to do the planning as this is the first time I've done something this large-scale. Hope this is sucessful, hahas.
On something totally unrelated, I just received my NS enlistment form today. Haiz, unknowingly I'm alr 16+ yrs of age liaoz. Lols, so gotta start worrying bout NS le.
Oh yeah, one other thing. After trying to find some work since hols started, I've since realised many of friends around me have actually already got jobs. Came as quite a surprise to me really, thought I could get someone and look for a job together but alas, I was too late. Some even have jobs since sec3, lolz. Anyways for me, tried Popular at Jurong and IMM but places were fully taken up le. As the days continue to pass, I am starting to feel less motivation to take on a job though. Anyways, gonna try out Jurong Point and West Mall b4 I make a decision.
Kk, gonna end off here. Going for dinner at Hog's Breath at CHIJMES to celebrate my bro's birthday. Till nxt time, Bye!

Performance at SCH
Okay, I know this is kinda late. I still going to post it anyways.
Some time ago, on the 21st nov, I went for a performance with the choir for perhaps the last time at Singapore Conference Hall Foyer. It was a very informal performance really, just a small stage and some parents as audience. However, it was still memorable and extremely enjoyable.
About one or two weeks before the performance, I started attending choir practices again with Kheng Hian. However, KH had some stuff to do so KH could not perform. That period of time was still not enough for me to learn all the songs that were to be sung though so I only sang some of the songs. Think I only sang White Horses, Take These Wings, Muddy Water and Janger. Hahas, the rest of the time I just stood on the stage. lolz. Lucky i was standing at the far left corner huh?
Of course, some other seniors came to give their support as well and we took photos after the performance, which lasted only about an hour I think, the shortest performance I've done. Then, of course, we went for dinner, at Yew Tee Point.
Hahas, oh yeah, had Prom Nite at Intercontinental Hotel on 23rd Nov oso. Was really a night to rmb, lots of great food, songs, activities, and of course took many great great pictures to keep as memories. I finally decided on a white striped long sleeve shirt to go with the black blazer I bought just two days b4 prom lolz. And of course black shoes and socks. Took a cab back after that at bout 11pm.

First week of Freedom
A little about this past week - This post gonna be kinda long.
So Monday. went for choir to prepare for upcoming performance on sat. Got there at 8 for impromptu sectionals. I was late, short notice. Was supposed to hve breakfast with kheng hian at 8 lols. Anyways just bought a burger and rushed to practice. Practiced till about 12.45 and practice ended. For that day, practice was kinda helpful for me as I realised how rusty my voice had become and took note how much more I needed to work. As a whole, the guys needed much improvements as well. After that went Orchard with Xun Xin and ZJ to get stuff for prom at bout 2+. Met a few others at Far East Plaza as well. As I only needed to get a blazer, I didn't really look around much. Most had promos for blazer and shirt, which I didn't need. However, first shop I went into I got really thrown off by the shop attendant's attitude. Therefore, I didn't bother to get anything from there. The few other shops we went to all had blazer with designs I didn't really like so I didn't buy anything that day. Shopped till bout 9 and then got home.
Tuesday. Hahas, dun really rmb what I did. No choir though, think I slacked at home, watched TV, practised the songs for choir etc. Oh yeahs, went to watch meteors at 8 in the evening at Japanese garden with my siblings. However it just rained and so it was very cloudy and there weren't any meteors to be seen. Waste of time lols. Sad. Our time was not really wasted though. There was the "Deep Impact" and " The Day After Tomorrow" being screened and both shows weren't too bad. Both shows revolve around the idea of the end of the world but different ways in which the world comes to an end. Stayed all through the night and only left at 5 in the morn on wed.
Wednesday. Had choir again. Slept only about an hour or so and left home for sectionals at 8. Was late again though, couldn't get out of bed, hahas. So got there at about 8.45. Left early at 11.00 this time though, had a medical appt.
Thursday. Went to catch a movie with my siblings at Cathay at around 3.00. Watched 2012 and it was an extremely interesting movie again about the end of the world. After that, left at 6.00 and went home for dinner.
Today, thinking of trying to see if I can get a blazer from a shopping mall nearby. Then there is the packing for my holiday trip to China to be done (tell you about it when I get back). Hoping to sqeeze some time to go cycling but chances of it are really bleak. Saturday will be the choir performance and nxt Monday is prom already.
Will be off on my trip to China - Kunming early morn on Tues and coming back on the 3rd dec. Till then, Bye.

Btw, Life of Freedom - Day 1
Btw, Life of Freedom - Day 1
Cycling outing to East Coast Park
Had a really great time at East Coast Park on friday with 4D'09, hahas, despite the persistent rain that is. The rain actually lasted for about 4 hours on and off lols.
However, the first thought I had when we got to East Coast was " why did we come all the way to the east just to stand in the rain??" Hahas, we hung around about an hour in the rain b4 we got on to renting bikes and going off to cycle. Was really drenched just minutes into cycling and with the strong wind blowing, it was freezing.
By the time we hung out at the jetty, about an hour into cycling, I was more than drenched, soaked through in fact, hahas. Tommy was like asking " You went swimming ar?" Lolz.
Den went to the beach but due to the rain, the beach was like a piece of random quick sand. Walking on the beach and suddenly, ur feet just sinks into the ground and gets filled with sand. Was kinda lucky I decided to wear slippers there I guess, imagine getting shoes filled with sand. Urgh!
Returned our bikes at around 6.25 and 7.00 and went for dinner at the food centre at East Coast Park. I ordered some char kuey tiao and shared money to buy some satay with the rest. Others like jy and tommy, I think, even ate three or four rounds. Guess the cycling was really tiring huh?
Had dinner from about 7.00 to about 9 plus den walked to the bus stop with daniel, jy, john, zhao wei, yk, eugene and kwong hong. An song, xx and zj stayed behind with emilia, colleen and berenice. At first couldn't find the bus stop and spent a long time walking. In the end finally found the bus stop and took 155 to paya lebar station. Then trained back. Got home before 11.00.
All in all, was quite a fun trip I would say. Despite being a little wet but still fun. Looking forward to more of such trips:)

Down to the last paper... FINALLY!!!
Yeahz... so I cleared three papers today. Hahas, it wasn't too bad though, all the papers weren't too tough. Well... except for HMT at first actually. Somehow the thought process wasn't really there and the sentences and thoughts in my mind just weren't flowing. Guess I really lost touch with chinese after such a long break form it huh?
Ytd while I was revising for chinese and saw the compos that I had written b4, I started to get a little worried. Somehow I don't rmb ever writing that fluently, and that wasn't the best yet. I was certainly way behind on preparations even ytd. So I tried to get back my thought process by reading some of my past compos and doing some thinking through some qns and doing some writing. Haiz... however it was to no avail. It was only until after my first paragraph of "zuo wen" that I managed to get back my thought process and the phrases and "cheng yu"s started to come to mind. Phew! at least the rest of the compo was not too bad.
Paper 2 was quite manageable as well. At least it was much easier than all the practices I had done b4 this. Think I did pretty okay for it. Hope I pull through these HMT papers...Please!?
Den was phy paper 1. It wasn't too bad as well. At least the qns were more varied and I was able to do majority of the qns confidently. Hope Paper 1 will pull my Paper 2 grades up by 2,3 grades. That should give me quite reasonable grades...
Well, it's down to the last paper now - Chem Paper 1. So gonna just study hard for this one last paper I guess.

And the war ENDssss...!!
Yeahs... so it's down to the last week of O's already. Time flies huh? This last week will probably be the most impt for me though. For one thing, HMT is taking place this week on tuesday, which is really impt as I have been putting in much effort for this subject the last couple of years, I do not want to dissapoint myself and my teachers and most imptly I can get two points off my score if I pass HMT. Hahas, "pai bi" .Physics Paper 1 is also taking place on tuesday. Gotta work hard for phy paper1 to make up for the extremely dismal performance for paper 2 lolz. Den there's chem paper 1 on friday. Cher's said that if excel in paper 1's, there is the possibility to move up 2 or 3 grades?? so really gonna work hard.
On a more relaxed note, gonna start going to choir practices again soon after the O's. Yeahs! really looking forwards to that.
As of now, all the papers that I've done dun seem too bad to me, other than Physics Paper 2. Hoping my grades will be what I expect this time... maybe <10 points. Hahas... let's just work hard for the last few papers.

HMT lessons
Haiz... coz with HMT exams so near, HMT lessons are of course I-N-E-V-I-T-A-B-L-E. Hahas.
Tmr, Friday, from 8 to dun noe wen. ( Hope not till afternoon though) and sat also from 8. Haiz..
Saw Mdm Yong ytd and she told me smth bout putting one of my compo in " Chong Jing". Lolz.
I dun rmb giving Mdm Yong any compos for " Chong Jing" or even writing anything wonderful at all that I've handed to her. Must have been really tired ytd I guess, Hahas. Hearing things. But seriously, she really talks kinda fast and I do have problems keeping up with her talking, outside of lessons of course.
She said smth bout " fa bu hui" on 14 th nov lolz. Suppose I hve to be present.
One other thing. Its been raining really heavily and frequently these couple of days. I am quite sure that I've been stranded by the rain at least twice during the period of the O's. Zzz...
That's not the problem. But having shoes with holes on the soles becomes a huge problem with the ground wet frequently. My socks keep getting soaked. Zzz..
Kays, signing off.

Nearing the end of the war...
Hi all, going to talk about the O's again today.
This week, Monday had SS first at 8.00 in the morn and then Chem at 2.00 in the aft. Felt that both papers for the day were quite well, especially SS, hahas! den again it was coz Venice didn't come out I guess. Woohoos!!
So of course I did globalisation which suprisingly, luckily I might add, did come out. Though I didn't really study much of globalisation, hving spent much time on Venice( Grrr...), I was still able to answer the qns somehow. Guess it was probably coz Globalisation has been " internalised" already having studied it for almost a whole year already. Btw, the two qns were
4. Sustaining Singapore's economic development in a globalised world
(a) How far do you agree that the main cause of globalisation has been improvements in communications?
(b) Which is the more effective strategy for Singapore to remain competitive in a globalised world - diversifying its economy or managing its resources efficiently? EYA.
Was able to answer both the qns quite well I felt. I do hope that I managed to justify and elaborate on the points reasonably and fully. The SBQ was not too bad as well. Really hope to score well in SS and hopefully get an A1.
Chemistry was not too difficult as well. Managed to complete the paper and my answers were hopefully better this time than the last few tests and papers that I did.
Tuesday didn't have exams so didn't go to school. Stayed at home to study for physics and geog on wed.
Had Physics first the next day on wed at 8.00 again. However, felt that my answers for that paper were not that good. Really, it was infuriating! Magnetism, Moment, Pressure, Thermal all did not come out. Electricity came out though and it seemed to be lyk the only topic that came out. Thus, it was not very well.
But geog was okay, much better than I had thought at least. The questions that came out were quite easy, drawing of diagrams didn't come out at least, and map too. All in all, I felt that my answers were not too bad so really hope to get A1 for my humanities.
Okay, that's all about the exams for the past few days.
Not having any more papers till nxt tuesday and friday will be the last paper. Friday is Chem Paper 1 but tues will be hell for me. Hahas, imagine HMT Paper 1 and 2 and Physics Paper 1 all falling on the same day. Haiz...just one more week, can't afford to give in now. Looks lyk I just have got to work a little harder these last few days. Signing off...till next week.

Alright, so I haven't been posting for the last couple of days. Hmm... been kinda busy of course. Hahas, due to the O's of course. Kinda getting used to the O levels already by now.
Oh yeah, this is Day 5 of the O levels already though - A Maths Paper 2.
Had the first four days of the O's in 2F classroom but ytd had it in the hall. Yeahs!! finally got what I want! Hahas, really boring doing in the classroom lolz.
O levels has been going well for me I guess. El papers were kind of okay i guess, despite a little problems in the paper 1. E maths papers were generally okay if the Qn7 of paper 2 was marked( kinda jumbled up) den shouldn't lose too many marks.
But best of all so far was ytd's paper. Amaths paper 1 was a breeze through I felt. Well, at least I knew how to do 90%?? of the paper. After the paper I could also rmb the answers to most of the qns. Hahas, really hope to do well for Amaths Paper 2 today. Yeahs!
After this week, half the battle is won. Next week and the week after next just gotta work much harder for science, humanities and HMT papers. JiAYoUs!!!

Study Weeeek
Study break's almost drawing to an end and this is the last week day b4 the O's! Just a quick update on wat I've done this week.
Of course, seeing as all the maths papers are taking place nxt week( ie. A and E maths) and english as well, I've been doing mostly maths this week. However still way behind time on the practice papers though.
Been going back to sch everyday to study, except mon which was a holiday in lieu of deepavali on sat.
Tuesday - Had geog from 9 to 10 den went for Maths at c7, Ms Sim was not dere
Wednesday - was hell! went for breakfast wif john and siew sean at bout 8.15 at lot 1 den went for maths. Had phys at bout 10.00 to 12.30 and chem from 12.30 to 2.00. but was kinda delayed coz we were having lunch lols. mac again. Den asked ms koh some qns n ended off slightly aft 2.00.
Den went back to c7 again.
Thursday - no lessons that day. but went back to sch to study maths again lols,at c7. Ms sim was not dere again I think. anyways, studied maths again and den left in the aft. Can't really rmb wat happened that dy zzz...
Friday - Geog in the morn again from 8-9 in the library, and I was late lyk 20 mins. and did not manage to c ms yeo though. so made an appt wif her on thurs nxt week. and it was maths again all the way to 10.00. den met ms lai to discuss a situational writing i did previously. Hahas, Ms lai was so busy she had to hve her breakfast as we talked. Den went back to c7 and Ms sim was around this time but still did not manage to c her.( actually intended to book her on wkends but she needed to do marketing on sat and not free on sunday so unsuccessful), so juz did my own work till 12.30 went to hmt( kinda wif reluctance though)and met Ms sim only aft hmt at bout 4 to clarify qns. loads to clarify as she kept telling me to compile and compile and pile, pile, pile...
In the meantime, as hmt ended at bout 2.00+, I clarified qns wif xunxin. lolz quite efficient and didn't waste anytime at all. Thanks xx.
den clarified qns all the way till 5.30 or so and she got booked on sat morn by zj hahas. So left sch at 5.30.
made some appts wif the teachers nxt week, mon wif ms sim thurs wif ms yeo. yeahs tat's bout all for now but will probably be meeting more teachers lyk mrs ram or ms koh, lolz. hopefully able to meet the teachers though, all in high demand now.

Study break den the O's
Right, so this is the first day of my study break where there's no sch for one wk b4 the O lvls. Not a break from studying though( can't afford tat now, lol) but a break from sch to study. Zzz...
Kinda scary now wen i think of it, from 90+ days to now juz one wk. Lyk only six days left now as I write. So i'm really going to "mug" real hard this wk ( as "mugging is cool" - as Mdm Lee says) and make the best preparation I can for the last 100m in the race, as Ms sim keeps reminding us.
Hahas, so tat's all for now till 13th nov, full force till the end of the O levels:)

Improvements in results. Yeahs!
Had a great week this past week. My results, at least most of them, have made improvements. However, improvements usually come wif much stress. Mr Koh and Mrs Ram are quite happy wif me having made improvements and have told me to continue to work hard to score A's in the O's. Well, what Mr Koh said was that he wanted to see A1 for physics from me. Hahas, STRESS! I am scroing B3 for physics now and C5 for social studies. Now at least I have some evidence of hark work and knowing tat I am working in the right way( work smart). Suprisingly, my L1R5 have also made great jumps as well. From 39 in the mid year to 25 now:) Yeah, of course, the destination is still A's in the O levels and so my journey does not end here. I still do have to continue working harder still and I have confidence tat I will excel in the O's. Then again, my el is still a problem. L1 has slipped alot in this prelims 2 though. Gotta put more effort into L1.
Countdown to O levels, TWO WEEKS!!! Okays, gotta go study hard for my A1s now, bye.

Effective Studying!!!
Woah, spent the whole of ytd studying wif zi jie at limbang mac. Did lots of a maths and lots of rev. Hahas, and ate lots too.:)
Today will be studying again but at my house. lolz. In about 5 hours time?
And I finally changed my blogskin to something more suited to my personality. A dark colour. But still thinking of creating an original one but tat'll be after the o's though.

A maths!!!
Ytd A maths paper 1 was surprisingly quite easy and I was sure I would do well. It was the first time i didn't nid to skip qns and could all the qns with ease. Indeed, Ms sim told me today tt i had done well for A maths paper 1.
However, A maths paper 2 today was a killer. Lots of qns I didn't noe how to do. Really hope the marks i get are not too dismal. Phy paper 1 was quite ok, was not too difficult a paper. Hope i get gd grades for it.
Hven't got sch tmr coz no paper. So slacking today and tmr gotta revise for the last paper chem paper 1.
Wish me good luck!

Err.. all still seems to be well
Here to update again. Well, life still seems to going good for me, that is, other than suffering from severe fatigue( tiredness??) so far I hve been coping well with the prelims 2. Hmm... cleared el papers, Hmt papers, maths P1, humanities, and chem and phy paper 2s as well as of now. So far I would say I could attempt all, if not most of the qn with ease so really hoping that this test will return good results. Next week there's science paper 1s and amaths papers and i'll be done!
Hahas, been having my exams in the learning centre this time round.
Right, so met kheng hian after exams juz now and made plans to meet up next thurs to go visit choir again. Not having any papers next thurs so lucky for me I guess. Next mon no sch coz holiday, think it's hari raya.
Probably going to get some sleep now. Bye.

Relaxing Weekend for me?? maybe not?
Hahaha...So happy this weekend. El cher didn't gif hw, Hmt no hws. But of course, being one who is taking the O's, there is no such thing as a slack weekend. but still, it's 2+1 loads of my mind.
Just finished El oral( as said in last post) den no language hws. But still loads more maths, chem, phy and humans hws. Most of them aready late works though.
Talk a bit bout wat's to come nxt wk.
This wk's tests such as geog, phy hve been pushed to nxt wk tue and wed respectively, I think.(Due to orals of course). Den nxt wk tue there's still SS test, I think. Haiz, so many tests nowadays I oso siao le, can't keep track liaoz. One thing's for sure though, nxt wk will be one hell of a wk, with all the tests and Hmt prelims 2 coming up on Thurs!!
Guess this wkend's just the quiet before the storm? Coz after this, life's gonna be hectic for me. What with Prelims 2 coming up.
Haiz.. and I really nid more slp. Signing off...

O level El Oral Examinaitons
Had my EL O level Oral Exams ytd. Throughout the whole day, I had butterflies in my stomach. However, I managed to calm myself down during the orals and am sure I did well at the orals. I sure do hope I clinch a DISTINCTION !! for the orals.
Now, I have to work hard for the other 80% of my el grades and I hve no doubt tat I would succeed.
Btw, wish all who hve yet to take their oral exams the best of luck.

Release of O level Mother Tougue results 2009
Well, today was kinda eventful. Today the Mother Tougue results were released. All the anxiety and anticipation of my friends have finally come to an end.
Of course, tat's not talking about me, I received my results last year.
Congratulations to all who have gotten distinctions and also all who have made a BREAKTHROUGH for this exam. Come to think of it, there have been quite a number of breakthroughs made for this exam, huh?
In the Malay and Tamil languages mainly, but the Chinese just fell short of making a breakthrough this time round.
Hahas, what can I say. It's Chinese after all, a seemingly impossible subject to master??
I think many have proven this statement wrong just through this exam. Many of them have secured passes, some even with outstanding A1s, which sadly I didn't.
Take Zi Jie for example, even he managed to secure a B3! Congrats to you too.
Okay shall end off nao. Let's hope we make many more BREAKTHROUGHSZZ! in the upcoming O levels.
Jiayous everyone!

NDP Theme song 2009 " What do you see"
Yeahs! National Day is once again round the corner.
Just thought I would post the lyrics of the NDP 2009 theme song here.
So here goes...
Just thought I would post the lyrics of the NDP 2009 theme song here.
So here goes...
There’s a jewel on the ocean,a gem upon the sea.
Where the future is an open book.
A land of destiny. We could set our sights into the wind and sail the seven seasor climb the highest mountain top as long as we believe.
What do you see? What do you see?
See the moon and the stars, look how far we have come.
See the moon and the stars, look how far we have come.
Look around at our faces, they shine brightly in the sun.
With our hopes and dreams, imagine what tomorrow it may bring.
What do you see? What do you see?
Now the time has come to reach out,To open up to see.
Now the time has come to reach out,To open up to see.
That we stand together in this land.
Cos we are familyAs thoughts of reaching to the sky are carried on a dream.
With hearts and minds united, our dreams we will achieve.
What do you see? What do you see?
See the moon and the stars, look how far we have come.
See the moon and the stars, look how far we have come.
Look around at our faces, they shine brightly in the sun.
With our hopes and dreams, imagine what tomorrow it may bring.
What do you see
What do you see when life makes you take on a mountain.
What do you see when life makes you take on a mountain.
You’ll see that nothing's gonna stand in your way.
Together we can share. The strength of a million and the courage of a million more.
See the moon and the stars, look how far we have come.
See the moon and the stars, look how far we have come.
Look around at our faces, they shine brightly in the sun.
With our hopes and dreams, imagine what tomorrow it may bring.
Cos the skys the only limit when youre not afraid to dream.
What do you see? What do you see…

Sing to the Dawn
Yoz!! Back again.
Well, was at the screening of " Sing to the Dawn ", somewhere near the esplanade ytd. Somehow got tickets and went with my family. The show was way way different from what we studied in sec 1 though the characters were the same though. What we studied bout was a competition over the village scholarship but the show was... Well, shan't be a spoiler, go watch it urself.
Kayz, as the show coincided with the national day rehearsal ytd, we also got treated to a show of fireworks! But apparently we were blocked by a tree. Managed to take some pics though. Will upload them on facebook soon.
Right bye then, till next post.

Runway Cycling 2009
Well, it's the end of the first week of term 3 and nxt wk's gonna be the prelims.Been studying hard for it and hope to produce better results of I'm doomed!
I had quite an interesting june hols though, at least for the last two wks. On 19th june,Friday, I tried cycling to choa chu kang from where I lived( jurong east ) and suprisingly, given my extremely poor sense of direction,it was a success. I then had a quick meet- up wif john at CCk Mrt station and left for home.
Then two days later, I participated in the Runway cycling 2009 at paya lebar runway and rode 45km! Of course, not cycled anything near that distance b4, I went kinda slow. Took me bout 3hours to complete the whole ride.
Was supposed to go wif john but missed him as I was getting my new bike, a Polygon, fully equipped. That's a really cool bike wif all parts Shimano!! Guess that was just as well coz john came back much faster than I did, bout half my time if not less.
Spent the last wk of hols finishing up hws though.
And, I see that ppl are tagging at my tagboard already. Yeahs!
Hi to all who hve tagged and keep the tagz coming. :)

YEahZ!! I'm 16!
Hahas, today's my 16th birthday. Can watch NC16 movies lerhz. lolz.
Had chinese lessons 2dy though, from 8.30 in the morn to 4 plus in the afternoon. Haiz, birthday taken up by lesson. Then again, after 16 years of my life, this is the first bdae tat I needed to go to school on my bdae. Coz my bdae falls on the sch hols so nvr had to go to sch on my bdae. Hmm... wonder if this year's change is a gd thing. Hahas!
Gonna be having buffet for dinner later and then gonna catch a movie.
My birthday wish for this year would be to get extremely outstanding results for my O levels. Hope this wish is fulfilled.

SYF showcase 2009
Been really bz these few days what wif tests and IP lessons, so didn't really hve the mood or time to do any blogging.
An important event took place last week( friday). Friday evening I had a performance at Republic poly for Kranji sec's biannual SYF showcase, this year themed " Dream Oasis". It was really an interesting and memorable evening.
I went down after my chem SPA exams, which was held earlier that morn and reached the venue at bout 12 in the afternoon. After some warm-ups we got down to practising the two songs that we would be performing.
Throughout the 6-7 hours that we were there, we had a few runs of the show and that was it!
At about 7 the doors were opened to the public. The choir, us, started off the performance with "song da ge" and " Take these wings". I felt that we did pretty well for both the songs but still could be better though.
The show went on smoothly till about 9.30 and we were once again due on stage for curtain call.
Of all the curtain call rehearsals I had done, this was the best one for me as I didn't make a blunder as I had done in the few occasions previously.
After the performance, we got back to sch and helped Ms Ho move the numerous packs of bottled water to the staff room. We took the lift up to the second level and started to move the drinks. However, instead of carrying it one by one, we formed a " human travellator" and position ourselves all the way to the staff room. Then, we started throwing the packs of drinks one by one from the lift to the staff room. Really ingenious, very fun too. Hahas.
Nearing midnight, we found ourselves outside limbang's Mac enjoying supper. Not all of us went though, only me, Eekie, Kwong Hong, Xin Yi and few others. It was really relaxing to be eating late into the night, a new experience for me. Needless to say, I overate and felt myself bursting with food. Eekie then starting playing with a balloon and tried sucking in the helium air in the balloon to produce a high- pitched, "squeaky" sound( didn't noe tt helium air does that).
All in all, it was a very interesting, fun and memorable evening to be remembered. The show that day was also a great success( feedback from friends). As this is probably also the last time that we are performing together, I am sure it will be a night that is remembered.
Yeah, that's about it. Quite alot of events took place on this day( 5th June 09) huh?

Week 10 of Term 2
Hi all, I'm back again to post.
Right, a bit about my last wk. The whole of wk 10 of term 2, it was preparation for the chinese '0's. Therefore, I as one who takes higher chinese had a quite relaxing wk 10, I would say.
We were in the air-conditioned AVA rm for four whole days revising work by ourselves. On monday, the first day of such freedom, I was totally not concentrating on work I was supposed to be doing but instead enjoying myself on a piano in the rm,hahas!
However, I slowly disciplined myself and started working on the chinese compo I was to be working on.
Come tuesday, pretty much was the same at chinese and after that I had choir. I experienced leading the choir in warm-ups for the first time and it was beyond what I'd have expected. It was totally different from leading sectionals. For one, there was a bigger group of ppl. Furthermore, there were four different sections singing.
Wednesday and Thursday passed with me working more and playing less and I finally finished my compo on thursday. I am quite satisfied with my compo though.
Seeing as we have completed our task, we were given friday off from sch and I finally then had time to catch up on maths.
Right, that's all for my week and now the hols are arriving.Yeahs!

Wow been really bz these past few days preparing for chem and physics test and haven't had much time to do much else. Well, at least now chem mock is over, I have some time to relax a little.
Okay, so wentta celebrate my great grandmother's bdae ytd. Guess her age? Hahas, 104. Come to think of it, it really is quite a blessing to live up to this age and still live happily huh? Well, after thinking bout it, I think it depends alot on family support. My grandparents, her children, and my aunts and uncles, her grandchildren, take turns to look after her, giving her joy.
Coincidentally, a report of her having a meal with some of my relatives ,at Shangri-la hotel last week, came out ytd. Apparently they were given a discount according to my great grandmother's age and ate for free with 4% rebate. hahas, coolz ehs!
Alright, leaving this post off here. Going to study for physics mock test now. Wish me gd luck yeahs??

Choir Number 33 - Kranji Choir!!
Well done Kranji Choir! Don't be too disappointed with our silver. I am sure we all did enjoy ourselves tremendously on tt day rite. I noe I did, nvr sang those three songs so happily b4. hahas:)
I can definitely say that our hard work and efforts hve paid off. We hve certainly improved as a choir, not only in our singing but also in our passion and attitude toward singing.
I am really grateful I am a part of Kranji Choir.

A new experience - An eye opener
Wow! wenta Metta Home juz now for SL. tio stunned. Despite repeated warnings of what the ppl dere were lyk, I juz wasn't expecting what I saw. I juz thought it would hve been somewhat lyk the old folks home tat we went to the last time but how wrong I was.
It was tough talking to them and to get them to understand what I wanted. Furthermore they seemed to live in their own world and not really care about things around them. Well, some of them only actually, others were quite spontaneous and participated actively in activities with us.
Hahas, den there was one guy, juz dun noe how he did it but he managed to release the air in two inflated balloons without releasing the knot or bursting the balloon. Really baffled by how he did tat.
Finally, juz some thoughts. I felt that it must be pretty difficult taking care of these ppl while looking at the helpers there running around attending to them. Looks lyk we hve lots to be thankful about huh?
All in all,, would say this was a fruitful trip as it really gave an insight to the less fortunate in our community.
