28/01 - Yoz all! So, went to Pioneer JC today to report for my first day of school. I got up bright and early at 6 in the morning as usual during school days and left my house to meet John at the bus stop opposite Lot 1. Was to meet John at about 7.10 and I got to the bus stop ahead of time at 7am sharp. Called John a little later and noted that he had boarded the 975 bus at his bus stop and was coming towards the Lot 1 bus stop. Just then, I saw a 975 bus approaching the bus stop I was at and thinking that it was the bus John was on, I boarded. However, I did not find John on the crowded bus and realised I was on the wrong bus! After contacting John once again, I realised I was going in the opposite direction. I quickly got down at the next stop at Brickland Road and took a taxi to school instead. Got to PJC slightly after 7.40, although I was supposed to report at 7.30. Luckily enough, I did not get into trouble and passed through the school gates smoothly. The rest of the day went on smoothly after that.
I went to check my MG( Matriculation Group) as directed by the JC2s there and reported to the hall after that. I was in MG01. I looked down the whole line of JC1s but saw no other Kranjians but Gladys in the same MG as me. I then realised that each MG was taken charge by a few OGLs(Orientation Group Leaders) who were JC2s who had volunteered for the orientation programme. After that came the Principal's address and a school tour by the OGLs and some group bonding activities like "Wacko" ,"Blow Wind Blow" and some game which we have to rmb our group member's names and repeat it. Just on the first day, I also made a new friend, Bo Hao from ACS(I). At break, I went for food at the canteen and met John, Zhaowei, Tommy, Yee Hwee, Bernard and alot of others there too. Wow, I did not expect so many Kranjians to have gotten into PJ lols.
The day then ended at about 1pm and we were given an opportunity to get a better understanding of the various subjects offered in PJC by attending several "Introductory Lectures". I attended "China Studies in English", "Economics" and "Physics" and took down notes on all the subjects lectures I went to. Up till then, I was more or less quite familiar where LT 3 and 4 were but to get around the whole school, it sure would take much more time. Left at 3+ with John and the rest.
Hmm... we will be having oreintation all the way till the 11th Feb. Hoorays!! Hope it'll be really fun, hahas!

4D Chalet!!
Well, been really busy these past week. Hahas, not work. It's attending chalets. Just got back from 2A chalet on the 18th, Friday, and attended 4D chalet on Sunday the 20th. Phew, and I just got back from 4D chalet ytd. I literally did not have to pack my stuff for 4D's chalet. I simply just brought everything again, with a change of clothes of course. Both the chalets were very different, although both were extremely fun.
To me, the most fun part of 4D's chalet was MAHJONG!! And night cycling of course, which is a must for 4D chalets. Hahas, I literally stayed up the first night of the chalet and mahjonged throughout the night. Lost a fair bit I think. At least, the others thought so but as I wasn't counting the amount I won or lost, I didn't care. At least, I should have recouped most of my losses from the last round. It was a great win, "zi mo" and "gor tai". So it was $3.20 from each, $9.60 in all. We were playing kind of big during the night though, just as a joke. Like no "gor tai" cannot win. Lols...
2nd night we went cycling.
Left at about 11pm and took the usual route from Costa Sands Pasir Ris to East Coast Park. All of us went and therefore, with so many people and lots of waiting, the trip was kind of slow. Got to East Coast Park and cycled around for a while before heading off to Mac for some food. After that, when we decided to leave, the girls decided that they did not want to ride anymore and took a cab home instead. That wasted alot of waiting time and discussing time. So it was quite late, or early, when we finally set off from East Coast Park to go back to the chalet. As there were two bikes left from the girls, the other two bikes were brought back by the cab, John and Ansong had to carry the bikes along while cycling. On the return journey, it was own time own target. We travelled at our own speed, be it fast or slow. Somewhere along the Pasir Ris Park, I lost track of the others and I saw an odd looking figure staring at me from quite a distance away. I wouldn't have paid much attention at it but it did not look human. After staring at it again and looking closer, I realised that it was a motorcycle mirror I was staring at. Either I was too tired or there really was a ghost. I sped up after that.
All of us finally got back to the chalet just before daybreak at 7am. It was a really long and tiring ride of almost 9 hours.
Hahas, I might add, JY gave a passing driver the finger along East Coast Park PCN and that really infuriated the driver. LOLS!
After returning the bikes, we then proceeded to check out. Two chalets in one go. My first!

Chalet with 2A'07
Just got back ytd from Costa Sands Resort Downtown East from chalet with 2A!! The whole trip was really loads of fun. I shall blog about it.
Right, so Day One (Wed)- Met up with some 2Aians at CCk control station at 11+ and waited for Jiaqi to arrive before training down to Costa Sands Pasir Ris. Den "da bao" some "Char Siew" rice for my lunch from the food court there and spent the day playing Mahjong, cards and totally slacking. Didn't do much on the first day I think, went for dinner later at the food court and again had "Char Siew" rice. Went to catch "The Spy Next door at 11+ later in the evening. The show was very hilarious and fun to watch, which was probably why I managed to keep awake through the whole show despite being very tired. Went back to the chalet and slept abit after that.
Day Two - (Thurs)Left early for piano lessons at 7am after a few hours sleep. Returned back to the chalet at about 2+ and they just finished buying stuff for the BBQ later in the evening. Nothing much again for the rest of the afternoon and by about 5+ 6pm we started getting stuff ready for the BBQ. Wow, there were lots to eat and compared to previous BBQs with 2A'07, this would be the most successful one? Hahas, some KSS teachers came too. Mr Kat and Ms Nat, with her baby. After BBQ went back to Mahjonging and stayed up through the night mahjonging( my tiles kept falling down like one after the other, almost like I was opening my tiles indicating I had "hu"). Lols, this really gave them the jitters, thought I had won. Hahas!
Day Three - (Fri) Went for breakfast and checked out by noon time. After which, I went home to prepare for my next chalet, with class 4D'09. Updates on 4D chalet on my next post...

Five days to decide... FUTURE!!!
Hais... been really stressed up and tired of late. First came my devastating O level results on 11th Jan -- 19. Never did I think I'll get all B3's and my HMT actually was a C5. All my results I would say were way below my expectations. Of course, immediately after getting my results came the important task of making my 12 choices for post-sec education. Looking at my results, I sure do have to include poly courses for consideration now. Having not considered poly at all, this was a great task for me as I had to look through all the poly courses and choose from the hundreds those which interested me. Then there was also the dilemma of putting Pioneer JC before Jurong JC or the other way round. After five stressful days, I am so glad the schools have finally been decided and it is over. I just submitted my choices today.
First choice - Anderson JC
Second choice - Pioneer JC
Third choice - Jurong JC
Fourth to twelveth choice - All poly courses
So, now all that is left is to wait for the posting results to be released.

Countdown to O level RESULTS!!!
Its only just three more days to the release of the O level results as I write. Hmm... I don't know whether to feel glad that I get to finally know how well I've done for all the effort I've put in or to feel nervous about what the results might be like. Then again, what's to come will come in the end, so guess we should just wait and hope for the best huh? I am really hoping to have good grades which will get me into a JC and into a science course as well. Currently, my aim is for Anderson JC lols.
Hahas, on a happier note, my room is finally equipped wif a new stereo and television, though only DVDs and VCDs can be watched. The new stereo actually allows for DVDs, VCDs and CDs to be played and even reads thumbdrives. XD

Genting with 4D'09
Came back from Genting 2 days ago on the 5th from a three-day-two-night trip with 4D!! Of course, not all 4D went, including me, there were 11 of us. However, that still did not stop us 11 from having hell-lots of FUN! We went with Daniel's parents though, as we were still not legally allowed to handle administrative stuff, so it was 13 of us who set off tgt. Right, gonna write in detail about it.
Day 1 (03/01) - Left Singapore on a coach (6199) at 7.30 in the morning from boon lay shopping centre. Seriously, crossing the Singapore Customs was a great chore for me. Dunno why I juz couldn't scan my passport properly. In the end finally managed it with help from someome queuing behind me lols. Then, continued on and passed the Malaysian Customs smoothly. After some travelling , we then stopped at Yong Peng for a break at 9.40 before setting off again. However, it wasn't long before we stopped again and us 13 were "specially selected" to move to another coach which was double- decked. This coach was much better and had personal television cum game sets. I didn't use it though. The coach then travelled through Kuala Lumpur alighting passengers and after almost 7 hours we reached Genting at 2+pm. We then checked in and went for lunch. Hell, it was damn ex can? Like 20-30 RM for one plate of rice with some other stuff. Then spent the day at the Indoor Theme Park. We tried all the rides there and went for the Bumper Cars over and over again. Then, went for dinner at a Japanese restaurant. After that, went back to our room and celebrated Kwong Hong's Birthday with lots of balloons and "Poppers". We then watched " Treasure Hunters" at 1.30am. However. most of us fell asleep in the cinema. Hahaha... went back to the rooms to sleep after that.
Day 2 (04/01) - Woke up at 9.00am and went for buffet breakfast at the Hotel's Cafe. Was quite a rush as breakfast ended at 10.00. After eating, we wasted no time in purchasing tickets for the Outdoor Theme Park and spent the whole day at the Theme Park. Went for lunch at KFC before continuing with the rides. However, it started raining after some time and most rides had to be stopped. We then spent our time at the games booths in the Theme Park and most of us won teddy bears of all sizes, especially Kwong Hong, who won four. Had dinner at some Mary's Brown then went back to our rooms. Me, Kwong Hong and Yee Hwee stayed up to play cards until about 2+am before going to sleep.
Day 3 (05/01) - Woke up at about 8 or 9 plus that day I think and went for some "dian xin". Seriously, the money, $70, spent for that breakfast was totally not worth it. The "siew mai", "chee cheong fun" and everything else were like so small, about half the size of the thumb lols. And that's not exaggerating k? After breakfast, we headed back to the room to pack up and do some last min checks as we will soon be boarding the bus at 2pm. Even though we were kind of rushed, somehow we found ourselves playing "Cheat" a little afterwards. In the end, we were rushed for time to have lunch and had to hurry off to a "zhu-cao" restaurant for lunch. The food there was not too bad but we didn't have much time to enjoy it. Of course, though we hurried, we were still not on time. We were supposed to meet Daniel's parents at 1.40 to wait for the coach but we got there slightly later. Still, we were not late to board the bus and set off on our journey back to SG at 2.10. We then made several stops as well, once at a shop selling some locally produced products, where I bought a packet of "bei teh soh". After we got back on the coach, Kwong Hong started distributing prawn crackers that he'd bought to us. Hahas, what a good fellow eh? Then, of course we made another stop at Yong Peng again where I bought some waffles which were quite cheap. Only $1+ for one and I bought two. Again, tasted really good. We continued on the coach once again after the break and reached back in SG at about 8+. We took a bus back to Jurong Point then separated. Some of us took bus back while I trained back with Xun Xin.
