Farewell Assembly - As the end approaches, we will be left with many memories…

So, what did we do for our last CT time with our Class Tutor? We had our activity in our “Home Class” – G2-69. We were instructed to place 22 tables and chairs in a circle for ourselves to sit in. Then our Class tutor took out a stack of papers with each of our names written on each one and told us to take the one with our name on it, Then she told us that we were to pass that piece of paper to the person sitting on our right and we were each given a minute to write well wishes to whoever’s name was on that paper and keep passing the paper around so that everyone has a chance to write well wishes for everyone else. Haha, most of the time we either had too much to write to our fellow classmates or just couldn’t think of what to write that we overshot the time limit.
Haha, how can our thoughts for two years be expressed in a single minute? Lol… there was just too much to say haha. So as it was, we finally finished with all 22 pieces of paper and each was returned to its owner haha. Phew! I had to come up with 21 different variations of “Study Hard!”, “Do not give up!” and “You can do it!” lol. And it was all impromptu. Hahas, it was also then that I realised how many of my classmates I had not spoken to in a long while. Just didn’t know what to write for them lol, It was really scary man. I hardly knew more than half of those in the class lol. Anyways, good memories we’ve had yeahs!
After I got home and read through the well wishes that my classmates had written to me, I felt quite comforted. Didn’t know that they actually noticed me haha. As they had once again written, I was a very quiet person and all that. Haiz… I have really tried to be more outspoken haha. Guess that’s just me. Some others were more encouraging though. Some did mention that I had been a good friend and was really helpful. Thanks all the same for all your words of encouragement hahas!
On a final note, my CT has certainly had a change of perspective towards our class. She assured us that she has certainly seen a change in our attitude towards our studies since we first met. Well, I’m just glad that it all ended well for all of us hahas. Then she said that the thing about JC life is not the content that we have learnt academically.
It really is about the tough times that we have pulled through in the two years here and how we have helped one another along the way. Hmm… I kind of agree with this. For one, I am sure I have many good memories of my JC life, much more than my 4 years in Secondary School, I daresay. Somehow, JC seems much more memorable than secondary school life.
Maybe because I am a little more involved… Or it could be the because of the wonderful friends I’ve made here in JC hahas. Don’t think we’ll have much time to be meeting up during the A levels papers as I will be having slightly longer papers due to extended timing for my papers so this could be one of the last times that the whole class is together.
Haiz…
